The benefits of working with horses go far deeper than just a fun after-school activity. Children who work with horses regularly see an increase in confidence, determination, and patience. Signing your child up to work with horses will help develop valuable leadership and communication skills. It will teach them the value of hard work. Children who work with horses find themselves spending less time on screens and more time developing lasting friendships with other horse-loving children.

No, all students enrolled in Hoofbeats in Harmony's Horsemanship Academy start at Level 1. This is to ensure we catch and fill any gaps in your child's education and to give them time to read the literature assignments. If your child has previous riding experience, they will likely progress through the first few levels very quickly.
