I have loved horses for as long as I can remember. I started riding at age 11 after many years of begging my parents for lessons. I learned to ride on a lesson horse named Teaspoon. My instructor got me hooked on Parelli Natural Horsemanship. The Parelli program taught way more than riding and as I worked my way through their program, I developed my skills in groundwork and liberty training in addition to riding.
I graduated college in 2014 with a degree in equine business. The school offered a very hands-on program where I was able to take classes in equine science, nutrition, and reproduction in addition to my business classes.
After I graduated, I took my horse Shorty to Colorado to study Parelli Natural Horsemanship. I taught as a licensed Parelli instructor for several years until I resigned in 2017 to start my own business focusing on education for children.
It has always been a goal of mine to provide my students (both human and equine) with a well-rounded education. My unique background in equine science, groundwork training, and liberty training allows me to offer my students a more in-depth education than a typical riding lesson program. I have developed a comprehensive curriculum where students study what I call the 4 Pillars of Horsemanship - Horse Care, Riding, Groundwork, and Liberty training. It is my goal through this curriculum to offer children a well-rounded education and support them in building lifelong skills with horses.
