Using obstacles is a great way to build your horse's confidence and teach them to problem solve both on the ground and under saddle.  In a typical obstacle clinic we spend the morning on the ground focusing on building the horse's confidence while introducing new and scary obstacles.  In the afternoon session we ride through the obstacles and participate in set challenges that are commonly seen at trail obstacle competitions.
